Description
The 12th floor of the Torre Mariano Escobedo building is the setting for the Chapultepec Polanco center in one of Mexico City's commercial hotspots. The Mexican capital is the richest city in Latin America and Polanco is in turn one of its most active areas with upscale hotels, restaurants and shopping malls, as well as embassies, art galleries and government offices. It hosts the offices of international organizations and corporations. The center, which opened recently, is also close to many banks as the city is one of the most important financial hubs of North and Latin America. Mexico City's metropolitan area generates close to a third of Mexico's GDP and has one of the world's fastest-growing economies, which has recently shifted from manufacturing to services. The center is well linked through buses, taxis and underground rail stations with a metropolitan area that is home to 20 million people.
